During my time at Scorpion Marketing, I served as the Senior Writer and Product Manager for UX Content, where I led content creation initiatives to optimize user experiences and effectively promote product features. By utilizing data-driven insights, I played a key role in enhancing product performance and driving increased website traffic and conversion rates through engaging web copy for marketing, SEO, and conversion purposes.
At Media Monks, I had the privilege of collaborating with Google as an embedded Senior Writer, contributing to enhanced internal user experiences through microcopy, UI process flow, email copy, and help files. As the Senior Writer and Content Strategist, I led content strategy efforts for YouTube Branding and Advertising, producing impactful advertising and marketing collateral that contributed to the success of advertising campaigns for prominent clients such as Zynga/Farmville, Fintech, Chromebook, and Google Nest.
As the Head of the Global UX Research Department at Tech Data, I led and managed a cross-continental research team, providing data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making. Through extensive user testing and research, I optimized user satisfaction and experiences, leading to an impressive 80% reduction in shopping cart abandonment. My contributions in quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as UX best practice development, enabled data-driven strategic planning.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in PSY from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Masters level work in social psychology. I have continuously pursued professional development through various courses and certifications, including ITIL Foundations, Meeting Facilitation, and Project Management Fundamentals.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my contributions and dedication to the field, receiving awards such as the Best of the Web, EGov Pioneer Award, and Civic 50 Award. I am an active member of the UXPA (User Experience Professionals Association) and have participated as a reviewer for the London UXPA Conference.
